My favorite part about the Rec Center would definitely have to be the rock wall. I had only gone rock climbing once before I came to WVU, but now that I have a wall within a couple yards of my dorm I go all the time. I haven't gotten my belaying certification yet, which you can get in the Rec Center, but a couple of my friends have theirs so I don't really need it yet. When it gets nicer out after the winter, I really want to get my own harness and shoes and go climbing at Cooper's Rock. A bunch of the regulars that I see at the rock wall have told me about it and I'm really excited to go! I would have gone already, but I don't want to be over-zealous and go outdoors rock climbing after only doing it indoors for two months. Hopefully I don't get hurt!!
